The Early Career Network of Commonwealth Chemistry organised a webinar as their seventh event on the 6th July 2026. This was the second in the series ‘Introduction to Intellectual Property’. This webinar focused on “Effective Patent Search: Demonstration using WIPO’s PATENTSCOPE database system and overview of WIPO’s services and resources”
The Early Career Network organises activities to cater to the needs of early career chemists across the Commonwealth. They deliver activities organised in line with the recommendations of the report “A Sustainable Chemistry Workforce for a Sustainable Future’.
During this webinar you will get a practical demonstration of an effective patent searching using WIPO’s database system PATENTSCOPE, followed by a brief overview of WIPO services and resources related to patent documentation and patent search from our speaker, Mussadiq Hussain,.
