Research Community Training Grants from The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) funds training that equips researchers with essential skills to enable them to succeed in their careers, whether they remain in academia, or utilise their skills in other professional fields.
About the grants:
- 10 grants of up to £1,000 are available
- They cannot fund existing training courses
- One output from the training must be made available to be shared with ACU Universities
Skills that are in scope include, but are not limited to:
- Presentation skills
- Netowkring
- Public engagement
- Social media
- Grant writing
- Career training

The call for new applications opens on 27 February 2024.
The deadline for applications is 23 April 2024.
One of the aims of the Supporting Research Community is to share knowledge and good practice through international collaboration. Therefore, applicants are strongly encouraged to make their training available to other ACU member universities if possible.
