Currently, we have twenty three Society Members with more soon to join. We look forward to welcoming all members at the next Annual General Meeting.
Chemical societies – whether national or regional – of any Commonwealth country and Commonwealth countries without a chemical society can apply for membership of Commonwealth Chemistry.
Commonwealth Chemistry Members
We encourage chemical societies across the Commonwealth to take their place in elevating the role and practice of the chemical sciences, for the benefit of Commonwealth nations and their people.
Membership of Commonwealth Chemistry is open to countries with and without a chemical society
Commonwealth countries with a national or regional chemical society can apply for Society Membership. Those Commonwealth countries that do not have a national or regional chemical society can apply for Associate Membership. If they would like to establish a national or regional chemical society, Commonwealth Chemistry can provide guidance. There is support available for the setting-up of new national chemical societies.
How to apply
Applications for membership must be submitted by an authorised representative and sent to the Secretariat. They are then reviewed by the Executive Board.
