The Early Career Network of Commonwealth Chemistry organised a webinar as their sixth event on the 9th March 2026 to Celebrate Commonwealth Day. ‘Commonwealth Day Webinar – The benefits of collaborative efforts’, a free-to-access webinar is now available on demand to support early career researchers by expanding their knowledge.
The Early Career Network organises activities to cater to the needs of early career chemists across the Commonwealth. They deliver activities organised in line with the recommendations of the report “A Sustainable Chemistry Workforce for a Sustainable Future’.
During ‘The Benefits of Collaborative Efforts’ webinar you will hear from our speakers, Professor Sir Richard Catlow, as the keynote speaker shared experiences from his time as Foreign Secretry at the Royal Society.
Additionally we hear from three pairs of speakers discussinf their successful collaborations:
- Dr Graeme Hogarth and Dr Jagodish Sarker
- Dr Paul McNaughter and Professor Nathaniel Boadi
- Dr Rosa Busquets and Professor Mohd Rizwan Khan
There is also a short Q&A session.
