Pathways to Success Banner

How do you keep moving forwards in your career?

The Early Career Network (ECN) of the Commonwealth Chemistry plans to organise a series of activities to cater for the needs of early career chemists across the commonwealth, in line with the recommendations of the report “A Sustainable Chemistry Workforce for a Sustainable Future’.

The first event of the ECN is the organisation of a webinar with inspirational talks on empowerment & personal development of early career chemists titled  ‘Pathways to Success’. This free-to-attend webinar will help to develop careers of early career chemists and access networking opportunities. Three eminent chemists of the ECN have been identified as our speakers.

There will be opportunities to submit your own questions to the panel, both live and ahead of time.

What will be covered in this webinar?

During the course of lively presentations, our speakers, Dr Genevieve Adukpo (Department of Chemistry, University of Cape Coast, Ghana), Dr Joseph C. Bear (Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kingston University, London, United Kingdom) and Dr Lydia Rhyman (Computational Chemistry Group, Department of Chemistry, University of Mauritius, Mauritius), will share information and experiences on:

  • overcoming challenges
  • building integrity
  • career progression
